My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rosie, the charming Australian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold! This little dynamo is not just another pretty face; she's smart too, she knows the commands "sit" "lay down" and "shake". Rosie has mastered the art of being housetrained, making her the perfect addition to any home. Whether it's a leisurely cruise or a road trip adventure, Rosie is your trusty co-pilot, as she rides like a pro in the car.

With boundless energy and enthusiasm, Rosie is always up for an adventure. She's a true outdoor enthusiast, relishing every moment spent on walks and reveling in the joy of playtime with her furry friends.

But it's not just her athleticism that sets Rosie apart; it's her remarkable intelligence and affectionate nature. This clever pup is a quick learner, always eager to impress with her repertoire of tricks. And when it comes to cuddle time, Rosie is a pro at melting hearts with her undeniable affection.

In summary, Rosie is the whole package-a loving, active, and intelligent companion who's ready to embark on life's adventures with you!

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
