My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brutus is truly a sweet boy. It has been such a pleasure watching his personality grow over the last 8 months. He loves to fetch, explore his puzzles, and cuddle on the couch. He is shy in new surroundings but warms up quickly. When he wants to snuggle, he will plop his body down on our lap and roll around. If he doesn't feel like snuggling, he will sit by himself chewing on a toy or resting.

He will verbally express his boundaries if you try to interrupt his "me time, but sometimes it's necessary to retrieve what he has in his mouth such as a stick from the yard. This beautiful boy is ready for his forever home!

Brutus will come with age-appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $250.

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
