My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minda is a petite orange tabby with an estimated date of birth of 11/20/2020. She is a gentle soul who can often be found sitting on the couch headrest, her tail gently tapping her foster's head. Minda is food-motivated, therefore, mealtime provides a great opportunity to gain her trust and introduce her to your home. Picking her up and walking around with her also helped to build trust. Loving pets and gentle talking has built a bond of love with her foster.

Minda isn't quite a lap cat yet, but we believe with the progress she has shown, she may become one once given a chance to settle into her forever home. She often falls asleep purring nose-to-nose with her foster dad. When not relaxing and snuggling, Minda loves to play with rattling balls and her feather boa. She enjoys basking in the sun and observing her surroundings from one of her perches.

Minda was rescued from the south side of Chicago by one of our volunteers. She will do well with an older cat or a kitty that just likes to have a buddy around. Minda is not at all aggressive but will need time to learn to trust her new kitty friends.
