🐱 Cat Compatibility: Not a Fan
🐕 Canine Companionship: Great with Other Dogs
🚪 Training Status: Doggie Door Pro
👶 Kid-Friendly: Not Sure, Requires Introduction

Hello, future playmate seekers! I'm Junior, a spirited Catahoula Hound born in 2019, and I'm ready to bring a whole lot of energy and enthusiasm to your home.

If you're looking for a canine companion with boundless energy and a love for play, then you've found your match! I'm the kind of pup who sees every moment as an opportunity for fun and adventure. From playing fetch to chasing after toys, I'm always ready for a good time.

Water is my absolute favorite—splashing, swimming, you name it! I'm a water aficionado, and I'm sure we can make a splash together. Plus, I have a special skill to show off—I can jump really high! It's like having my own little acrobatic show right in your backyard.

While I'm all about making friends with my fellow dogs, I must admit that cats aren't my cup of tea. I prefer a feline-free environment. As for children, I'm not quite sure yet. A proper introduction would be the key to discovering if we're a good match.

I'm proud to say I've mastered the art of doggie door training, making potty time a breeze. If you're ready for an action-packed, water-loving companion who can jump to new heights, then I'm the one for you! Ready to make Junior a cherished member of your family? Come meet me today! 🐾🌟

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
