My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing the dashing Taz, a young man with a heartwarming story of resilience. Rescued from a Florida dog fighting ring as a pup, Taz, despite never having been in a fight, found his way to our rescue at the tender age of 8 months. Now, he's seeking a loving family to call his own.

Taz's journey began with uncertainty, as he was unfamiliar with many aspects of life upon arrival. Though there's still room for improvement, Taz has made significant progress, showcasing leaps and bounds in his development. He's transformed into an incredibly sweet and loving companion with a delightful and silly personality.

This smart and active boy yearns for a home where he can be the sole pet, requiring someone patient and dedicated to helping him adjust. Taz loves engaging in outdoor activities like long hikes and play, yet he equally adores snuggling up in laps for cuddles and kisses, especially with his cherished toys.

Taz is eager to become the best buddy for the right human who continues to work with him, offering the time and patience required for him to thrive. All he needs is a chance to shine, and with the right match, Taz is ready to bring joy and companionship to a forever home.

Since most of our dogs are fostered, we take them to the potential adopter's home or convenient location.

For the animals located in PA many of the meet and greets are done at the kennel.

More about this rescue

Find abandoned dogs a forever loving home, one person or family, one dog, and one home at a time.

We are a foster-based all-volunteer rescue. We rescue dogs from high kill shelters and find them their new forever homes.

All our dogs are spayed or neutered except for puppies under nine months old, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative or treated for heartworm infection, and microchipped.

We believe every dog, cat, and critter has a purpose and deserves life, to be treated humanely, to feel love, to know compassion, and be happy, and most of all, to be family. After all, they bring all those qualities to people. We learn much from them as they displayed every time such unconditional love and selflessness qualities, which we reinforce with security and independence to express their true self as a loyal companion and forever friend.
