Meet Tank, a super-sweet orange and white 4-year-old cat looking for his forever home.
The foster mom says Tank isn't shy and LOVES people. He is not too fond of playing with toys and would rather have some TLC. He is perfectly content just being petted and relishes the attention he gets from his foster family.
Tank also has a fondness for treats and savors all of his meals. The foster mom feels he would do well in a home with older children versus younger kids. Tank isn't too keen on the big dogs he's been around at the shelter. We're not sure how he would do around smaller dogs since he hasn't been around any. Tank would do best if he's the only cat in the home or with who doesn't expect him to play or be a BFF.

Once the potential adopter has found a pet they are interested in, they can visit the rescue in person and meet the cat or dog.

Please note: Applicants should be age 21 or older. Fill out adoption application and submit for consideration.

The application is then approved or rejected by the administration of our rescue.

At this point, the adopter pays the adoption fee for the cat or dog.

We are located in Lakeland, Florida, on Moore Road, off of Old Polk City Road. Our animals are available to be viewed by appointment. We also have done various adoption events at the Lakeland Petsmart, as well as other events around Polk County.
