Hi I'm Mister Man! I have a catchy name so hopefully if you come meet me you will see the name is fitting.

Kids: Bring the whole family to come meet me so I can show off my sweet personality and ensure we make a good match. I'm a little shy so older children may be preferred.

Dogs: Bring your other furry members so we can play in a yard together before going home. I have met new dogs here at the shelter and did great! Your dog may even help me out of my shell in my new home. I like to walk on leash and get attention from the staff to love on me. Meeting new people makes me a little shy but treats will quickly get me to open up.

If you are interested in meeting me, Come on in! We are open every day 12pm - 6pm. Can't wait to meet you.

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.

Also included is a free week of training through Good Pup.

The SPCA of Texas is the leading animal welfare organization in North Texas.
