Meet Hazel!

Hazel is a short-haired dark tabby with a short tail. She is about 3 years old. She was returned after no longer being a good fit with her adopted family. We recommend against dogs. She was brought back due to reacting strongly to a dog being introduced into the household. This reaction included not using her litter box and showing severe signs of stress. She’s cat-friendly and did well with older kids (12+) in her previous home. She’s a sweet girl who enjoys affection and attention on her terms. She loves chin rubs and being petted on her head. It took several months to get comfortable in the shelter but she has settled in. She has a fun personality that is fairly independent and sassy at times. She would do great in a home where she could bond and connect with one or two people in a quiet, relaxed setting. She’s ready to find her forever family.
