Last winter, Raita, and some other dogs were discovered on a mountain in Paju, Korea. At that time, Raita was just a 3-month-old puppy, and fortunately, she was swiftly placed in a foster home.
Raita is very sociable and gets along well with other dogs. She loves playing with her canine companions and engaging in spirited zoomies. While Raita lived with cats in Korea, we are seeking a cat-free home due to occasional unpredictable responses to smaller animals.
Raita is house-trained but may use indoor pee pads when her foster parent returns home late from work. She experiences some separation anxiety, which can be mitigated if she is familiar with her surroundings or if another dog is present in the home.
With a healthy appetite and non-fussy eating habits, Raita walks well on a leash and feels at ease during car rides. Her friendly, affectionate, obedient, and gentle nature makes her a delightful companion.
During her vet checkup last spring, it was discovered that Raita had grade 1 medial patella luxation. Nonetheless, she displays no indications of discomfort or pain. Following the veterinarian's advice, the emphasis is on engaging in consistent exercise to enhance muscle strength, rendering surgical intervention unnecessary. Raita has been diligently building her muscle strength through regular walks and exercises, as confirmed by recent checkups.
Raita would thrive as a companion for an individual who either works from home or can dedicate ample time to her care, ensuring she is not left alone for extended periods. The presence of another dog would aid Raita's transition into her new home, facilitating her adjustment process.
