My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Peanut! I'm about 2 years old, and I just showed up in an East Baltimore neighborhood one day. Unfortunately, the other cats who already lived there didn't like me and I wasn't doing very well. So some nice ladies scooped me up, and brought me inside. Turns out "inside is great! My foster mom says I have three modes: snuggly supermodel, play machine, and business cat. I mean, have you seen how gorgeous I am? I love to be brushed and to sit in your lap or nearby while you read or watch TV. Since I'm only 2 years old, I really like to play. And boy do I play hard. My favorite things to do are chase a feather wand toy through my tunnel and "hunt my treats when my foster mom throws them for me. She says I am a great huntress! You might be surprised because I'm so young, but I also have a degree in business management. I really like to sit by my foster mom on her desk and supervise her work. I think I'm a pretty chill boss; I won't give you a hard time if you fall asleep during a webinar (because I probably have too).

Foster mom says I'm a good eater, good groomer, use my scratching posts reliably, and have great litterbox manners. I don't know what any of that means, but you can give me treats any time you want! Since I'm young and still kind of new to this inside life stuff, I am still getting the hang of what is appropriate play, so I'm looking for a home with someone cat savvy who can read standard cat body language. I would probably do best in a home without little kids, but I would easily be besties with a teen or other adults. I haven't met any other cats inside yet, but I don't mind my foster mom's other cats walking by my room. Since I am so playful, I might like having a buddy after a proper introduction process. Feel free to get in touch to learn more about me!
