Estimated birth date: 1/1/20

Personality: Inquisitive, Nervous, He knows the sound of a crinkling bag and will come right out and wheek for food!

Favorite treats: berries

Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy Hay

Favorite toys and activities: Trying and sometimes successfully escaping the playpen!

Potty trained: No

This animal’s daily routine: Freeroam time in the evenings.

BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Wrangler recently lost his beloved cage mate Laredo. Wrangler would greatly benefit from a new buddy in his forever home.

Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Dog; he doesn't seem to have any different reaction to the dog than people

Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Older children; no problems

Health concerns: Wrangler has an old eye injury to his left eye. You can see it. It does not seem to affect Wrangler's vision at all.

Behavioral concerns: None

Other notes: He is a very sweet guinea pig!

Wrangler & Laredo came to MNPPR after their owner was no longer able to provide care.

Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 11200 Prairie Lakes Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
