You’re not seeing double and these two are absolutely twice as much fun! Meet BamBam and his sister Pebbles. Are they purebred akita pups? They could be but our guess is as good as yours so we’ll just call them the perfect blend of Akita and shepherd all mixed into one (or should that be two lol). Both are full of puppy antics and enthusiasm. They are so incredibly happy go lucky. Life is great and pretty darn exciting in their book. Their stint in the shelter didn’t dampen their spirits they’re just happy to be alive!

And they spent quite a bit of time waiting in our county shelter. Almost a month to be exact. Picked up by animal control as strays. As older pups could they have been a breeder dump? That could very likely be the case but we’ll never know and we are just thankful we had the space to get them both out in time!

They hit the ground running at our rescue ranch. Happy with their new digs and all the space to run and play they haven’t looked back. People lovers and people pleasers they’re both absorbing everything ranch staff teach them. They’re pretty good on leash and are picking up all sorts of basic obedience skills. They’re fun and playful and both really great dogs. We’re slowly starting to integrate them into play groups and we feel confident they’ll do great. BamBam and Pebbles are not bonded. We will be looking for individual adoptive homes for both. They may be twinning but they will have no problem thriving with separate families. If you’ve been looking for a new happy and fun loving friend to add to your pack consider giving BamBam or Pebbles their new home. They’d love to meet you!
