Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. My name is Gage, and I’m a 3-year-old, 59 pound Aussiedoodle. In case you don’t know, that is an Australian Shepard and Standard Poodle mix. My foster mom says I am the best boy. I love, love my humans and like to follow them around. I am a very active boy. I have foster siblings who are my size down to 4 lbs, and I’m good with them all. I just like to play hard so we have to be careful. I also live with a senior dog who is 15. She is 8 lbs, and I don’t mess with her because I respect my elders. I have met something that is new to me which is a cat. If they run away, I will chase them, but if they don’t pay attention to me then I just sniff and go on my way. When I first came to my foster house, I tried to mark my territory because there were other male dogs there, but foster mom corrected me, and I’ve had no issues since inside. I use a gentle leader when walking on a leash. Otherwise, I’m like a bull in a china shop with full steam ahead! The only thing my foster mom says is wrong with me is that I’m a good hog. She is going to put me on something that is called a puzzle board to slow me down. My ideal house would be an active house with a fenced in yard and a buddy to play with. Both my breeds are working dogs so that means I like to work and stay challenged. I have been around kids 5+ years old and other than not knowing I’m a big dog, I love kids! Gage is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm and flea preventative, neutered, microchipped, and de-wormed. Gage’s adoption fee is $400. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. If you're looking for a very sweet and lovable l guy to join your family, please fill out an application on AAP’s website.
