My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

One-Eyed Jacquelina was rescued from the street.  Unfortunately, she had to have an eye removed, but it sure doesn't seem to bother her.  She loves cuddling in bed; she doesn't want to leave it now that she knows how safe and comfy it is.  She is very bonded with Tippy and we'd like them to go together.

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
