4 years old Conrad and Silas are extremely loving and calm gentle giants, who will keep you protected at any cost. Conrad is black and Silas is brown in color. They are both German Shepherd - Labrador Retriever mixes.
For two years a very kind woman has been caring for them in Houston after she found them homeless. However her life circumstances have changed, and she can no longer keep them with her, as the new place she is moving to, will not allow large-breed dogs.
Recently, Conrad stopped a break in from happening and kept them safe and perhaps even alive until the police arrived. He has many wonderful qualities, besides being alert and protective.
Both pups are very loyal, curious and extremely empathetic and sensitive to the emotions of their people. They love treaties like the Cookie Monster loves cookies, but if they see their humans are sad, then they get worried about them and tend to lose their appetite.
Even though they are big boys and weighs 110lbs, they are very gentle with those smaller than him. They have always lived with cats and kittens and absolutely adore them and love their companionship. Sometimes they just tag along behind them wherever they go.
Per their current guardian, Conrad and Silas are truly an extraordinary boys with many special gifts who deserve nothing but the very best family who can take both of them, as they are very bonded, and do not thrive without each other, as they have always had each other through many rough times that they have seen all their lives.
Conrad and Silas are neutered, up to date on all of their vaccines, totally potty trained and walk beautifully on a leash. Even though they are young and healthy, they don't have high energy. They rather be beside you than doing anything else.
They also enjoy a softie squeaky toy.
The brothers want nothing more than for a family to love them and to let them love them back a hundred times more.
They are very low maintenance. They prefer laying at your feet, or sitting with you, more than anything. Their adoption fee is $500 total.
Yards must be fully and adequately fenced to adopt any of our pups. We do not accept electric fences.
