Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louie is a 1 year old lemon beagle who was found dumped on a road east of Houston. He was malnourished and had that hang dog look as if he was giving up on ever finding a loving home! He is now fully vaccinated, neutered and looking like a chunky beagle boy! He tested positive for heart worms and is under-going slow kill treatment. Here is what his foster Mom has to say about him!

“We call him the ice cream beagle because he just melts into your arms when you pick him up. He could still gain a pound or two but his ribs aren’t sticking out the way they were when we first got him. He is a good boy, knows how to use the dog door and will come when called. He loves his food and is a speedy eater. He asks permission before jumping into your lap, and he loves to sleep curled up in a fuzzy dog bed. He can jump so high! So he can get on the counter even though he knows better. He has a helicopter tail that wags in circles and his whole body wags with it. He gets along with other dogs and kids. He loves his toys and will pull them ALL out of the dryer or the toybox in the wink of an eye.”
