My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Schneider, our 3 year old Sharpei mix, came into the shelter as a stray toward the end of October and was very frightened. After giving him much needed time to learn to adjust in this environment, he has learned to be more trusting of us.
However, he is still scared of restraint and vet treatments.
Due to this, he is recommended to go into a home that does not have children.
Schneider does really well walking with a harness and enjoys exploring. He would make a great hiking buddy.
We are still learning his likes and dislikes with other animals, but we are happy to do a meet and greet if you have other pups in the home.
We did introduce him to cats, and he seemed to do well with them so far.
Schneider is micro-chipped and neutered.
Schneider has now been with us for over 6 months and he has joined our lonely hearts club.
