My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sandy! An energetic, excitable, and loving pup! Sandy is a dynamic 1-year-old female, bursting with energy and charisma. Though she is a little fearful at first, once she builds trust she is outgoing and ready to play! Sandy is seeking a home that appreciates her vibrant personality. Ideal for individuals or families experienced with fearful assertive canines, Sandy thrives in an environment where her energetic nature is embraced. She benefits from slow and patient introductions to new animals. Gradual socialization with positive experiences will help Sandy build positive relationships with other dogs. If you are interested in Sandy, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and call 775-338-6631.April 29, 2024, 8:47 pm

We have a network of foster homes where the animals reside while waiting for adoption. Our website is kept updated with adoptable animals. We are building a sanctuary which will house adoptable animals and permanent residents.

On occasion we do adoptions at various locations. Check our website or Facebook for details.
