My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delano, MN - Luna - female smooth coat - DOB-December of 2019. UTD and Spayed. Luna is a very gentle kind hearted dog. Luna LOVES to play with other dogs who she has gotten to know well. She is very good with kids, but occasionally skittish around adult males. She has done well with cats, she tries to play with them, but they bat her away and she listens and goes her other way. Luna territorial of her home, she likes to bark at people passing by, but with a viberating collar she has stopped. She does not do it aggressively, her tail is wagging and you can tell she just wants to say hi. She is very good about staying in her boundaries, we live on nearly 2 acres and she is used to having some space to roam and play. We have had some instances that neighbor dogs who are not friendly have come into our yard and been aggressive with Luna. Because if this she is nervous around new dogs till she knows she is safe. So if an adopter had dogs, we would need to be sure she feels safe around them before rehoming. Luna LOVES car rides! She also loves snuggling with people, but especially with any blanket or pillow. Often times we will come home to find her laying her head on a pillow on the ground snoozing. Even though she is coming up on being 4 yrs she is slowing down, but still has some zoomies in her! She gets very excited to chase squirrels and other wildlife. One of her life’s ambitions has been to catch “chippy” the chipmunk who has evaded her capture for many years now 🤣.
We love and care for Luna deeply. We want to see her go to a place that is a forever home. This has been a very hard decision for us to make, and wish that she could stay with us. She needs to be somewhere that she sees her people often. We both work from home and she is used to the company. But if her people don’t work from home that should be fine as long as she’s shown lots of love upon their arrival home.
