What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We got Rocco from the Humane Society about two and a half years ago. Rocco is a little over 3 years old. He is housebroken. He loves to play fetch, keep away, and tug of war. For Rocco, ball is life. He learns new commands quickly and is eager to please. Rehoming Rocco is heartbreaking, he is a wonderful boy! He is super sweet with people and a great dog, but needs to be rehomed because he keeps attacking our other dog. Rocco needs to be the only animal in the house, he is aggressive toward dogs and will kill small animals. He has never attacked a person, but I suggest a home with no small children. He really loves kids, but he does guard resources and they may not notice his body language indicating that he is uncomfortable with something they are doing. Rocco doesn’t like people near his food while he eats. Feeding him once or twice a day and putting the food away works well for him and prevents him from guarding and being anxious about the food.
