My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mei!
Mei is a terrier mix approx 8 years old and around 18lbs. She is extremely shy and will need a home with another dog who is the alpha and outgoing. Mei will need to have a family meet her several times before she will warm up. She will need a quiet home and one who can be slow and gentle with her - understanding she will take time to come around. once she does she is a love bug. Our staff adores her.

So if you have a home with another outgoing dog around her size and have the time to work with a shy dog then mei might be for you.

We do require a meet or multiple meets with your dog and our dog prior to application. Upon application we do require a vet reference to call, landlord to call and we conduct a home visit. Adoption fee is 250.00

More about this rescue

Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats who would otherwise die simply because their time is up at shelters in western NC. We accomplish this by placing them into loving, forever homes via a system of transport to reputable rescues and no-kill shelters throughout the United States, as well as local adoptions. Each one is cared for, loved and given everything it needs (food, exercise, socialization, basic training, vetting, vaccinations, heart worm testing and spay/neuter) to become the best possible companion animal it can be! We provide this through our foster families and our Safe Haven until such time they are chosen to go to other rescues, where adoption awaits them, or they are adopted by us into local homes.
