Nova is a one year old female English Bulldog who has one blue eye. She is about 55 lbs. She is house trained and will let you know if the door is closed she will bark. She is kennel trained and can at times be found in her open kennel when she needs a break or is tired. She is very timid and can be anxious around objects that move such as vacuums, mops, outside decorations and the like. She is working on her manners while on a leash but seems to enjoy walks once she overcomes the transition out of the house. She also enjoys car rides. She is great with other dogs however she may knock over small children without intending to harm them. Cats who would play with her would be OK. She wants to play and doesn't always understand when her foster brother, a small Pug says "No".
She would do best with an owner who has the time and interest inputting in some training. She learns very quickly and is very motivated by praise alone. She is able to manage stairs and is very active. She likes to run and play with toys if you are engaging with her. She does not play with toys independently.
