Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS is why we rescue.... so that dogs like Peaches have an opportunity to live life as they deserve. As a surrender to Animal Control she was severely underweight, had borne an unknown number of litters, and the skin on her haunches was visibly affected by flea infestation/allergic reaction. After a few days in local shelter and spay, she was released to BHNW rescue, and on her ride to foster care she sat straight up, curiously looking out the window all the way, almost as if she knew that life had something better to offer her. Although understandably nervous at first, her sweet personality soon showed itself and it quickly became clear that she welcomes loving care and adjusted quickly to her foster home.
She is a well-mannered, curious and playful, knows her commands, fully potty trained, and responds to her humans with affection. When left alone, she sits or lays, waiting for you. As her energy improves on a strict schedule of high-quality food, we found she LOVES to play ball and will even return it and will take YOU for a brisk walk anytime! She may do well in a home with another dog to play with after slow introductions and loves to just sniff and wander in her yard. Since she is an OEB and AB mix, she is a little taller than purebred bulldogs;; has a happy waggy tail; responds well to routine, structure, and strong leadership; not stubborn; and is not high risk for significant medical issues ongoing. May be best in home with older children, and a yard to play in. Her full vet exam is pending, no issues other than mild skin allergy and need to gain weight are expected. If you are looking for an obedient and loving yet active and playful companion, please reach out to BHNW. She will be waiting patiently.
