Shadow and her sister Cookie came into care after their owner could no longer care for them. Shadow takes a bit of time to warm up and looks to Cookie for support and reassurance. Once she's comfortable, she will chat, and purr as soon as you start to pet her. She loves to be near her humans and Cookie. She is allergic to chicken and will over groom herself until bald if she receives and food or treats containing chicken. She is up to date with her vaccines, flea treated and dewromed, FIV/FelV negative and spayed. Shadow would love a quiet indoor forever home with her bestie Cookie.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
