MEET FALCON - Falcon is a handsome and lovable Large breed Guardian dog. The Great Pyranese are great protectors of livestock and farm animals as well as loving family members. Falcon appears every bit purebred Great Pyranees with his double dew claws in all their splendor.
Falcon was found living on a wildlife reserve and when folks finally realized he had been there about a year, they asked us to take him before the hunters during game season accidentally shot him. The community on the reserve just adored Falcon but with the no fence barriers and hunters they felt it best to bring him to a rescue. Falcon has learned to love the house and all its comforts pretty quickly. We house trained him which he picked up right away. He has been watching over our ducks since a Bob cat has been coming around the last couple weeks and the cat made off with one duck before Falcon arrived and injured two more. Now that Falcon is here on patrol and our motion flood lights up, the Bob cat hasn’t come back, at least not in that spot, we’re keeping an eye out for it though. Falcon sleeps indoors with the granddaughters and barks if he hears bears or other things that go bump in the night, We go out at night together if the trail cams go off. He loves children and adults, he’s good with other dogs if there good with him. Falcon deserves a loving family and a job where he can use his skills with a fully fenced perimeter for his safety. This gentle giant should never have to go hungry or be homeless ever again.
Falcon is now Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
