Chester is a 1 year old, 15lb male ShihTzu, who was taken to the shelter after being found as a stray on the streets. He can be timid and will initially shy away, but rapidly warms up. He is a great little dog and will make a wonderful companion to someone. He needs an experienced owner who will take the time to let him decompress and learn to trust. Come meet our dogs on Saturdays at PetSmart in Costa Mesa from 11:30-2:30. All A Home 4 Ever Rescue dogs receive a wellness exam by our veterinarian and are up to date with vaccinations. Our adoption process starts with an application followed by an interview. If all goes well we will proceed with a home visit. At the time of the home visit we will bring the dog with us. If the home is safe, you will complete the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and we will leave your new family member with you at that time.

Our adoption events are in Orange County on every Saturday. We also can make special arrangements during the week when it is impossible for someone to come on the weekends. Our goal is to pair up good pet parents with loving dogs in need.

More about this rescue

Our dogs are rescued from what is called "death row" at the city and county shelters, from a life abandoned on the streets, or from other situations of neglect and cruelty. While in our care they receive love, rehabilitation and medical care, if needed, and grooming. Since we are a small group, we are always in need of donations of any kind.
