Dixie is a part of our Shy Cat Club! She lives with other cats and seems to prefer the company of feline friends over humans. She usually stays perched on her throne when we enter her room. She runs away if you get too close or try to pet her but will come down for pate. She may prefer to go to an indoor/outdoor home or a barn home.

All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
