My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Regina! Regina LOVES her tunnel - she has recently discovered it is the absolute best place to hide and eat a treat. She has very good litter box habits and is a great hay eater. She loves a chew toy also - willow branches and compressed hay blocks are her favorite - and she rarely chews anything she's not supposed to!  She is still a little nervous around humans, but in time and in the right environment, she will flourish. A recently added stuffy has earned her affections very quickly, so she may also make a good bondmate. She loves exploring new spaces (as long as there is carpet!) and doing zoomies, though she is still learning how to binky! She has mastered the bunny flop and is one of the most beautiful girls you'll find. Despite the situation that brought her to us, she is a lover not a fighter. She is learning to enjoy pets and sitting on her foster mom's lap. If you think you may have the patience and understanding to help sweet Reggie learn the care and love a human can give her, contact HRN today!

• providing foster care for discarded domestic rabbits and arranging for adoption to permanent indoor homes;

• assisting humane societies and shelters with rabbits;

• providing spay/neuter surgery and veterinary care through arrangements with area practitioners;

• rehabilitating and socializing mistreated or neglected animals;

• permanently caring for animals who cannot be placed in adoptive homes due to serious health or behavioral problems; and

• educating the public on responsible pet ownership and humane practices.
