Buddy is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.
Buddy is a Purebred Anatolian. He is very Gentle with people, children, cats, completely submissive with other dogs. Shy at first but then very affectionate. Leash and house trained. He is Not safe with livestock, which means he cannot be Working Dog and has to a Companion Animal only. He actually respects a 4ft fence, doesn't try to escape. He's excellent pet material.

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.
