My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Cautious, goofy, playful & loving

Sweet + Shy + Playful

Jace is bit more shy than the average 1-year old male kitty, but he loves treats, playing with his brothers, and belly rubs! Jace can be found right in the middle of all the kitties at treat time, and will chase a feather toy or ball like a pro. He equally loves wrestling and getting into mischief with his brothers!

He is very sweet and may always be a bit timid, but if you go slow and let him sniff your hand first - we call this "getting consent"- Jace will let you rub his belly and scratch his cheeks, rewarding you with a HUGE purr!

The secret trick his foster family has found is that Jace absolutely LOVES other kitties, and if there's another cat nearby he will accept all of your attention with the biggest purrs we've heard in a while!

The perfect home for Jace will be a quiet, adult home either with an existing resident kitty that loves other cats, or to be adopted with one of his brothers or another friendly kitty.

If you'd like to meet Jace or any of our adoptable kitties, please submit an application today!

All CCR cats and kittens receive their vaccinations, a microchip registered to the new owner, collar & tag, starter bag of food, and their sterilization. In addition, we test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  All of our animals are 8 weeks or older when they are shown for adoptions, all of our felines must be spayed /neutered before we place them in new homes and they must be 8 weeks old and 2 pounds to have their surgeries.

If you have any questions, please email CatsCradleRescueCA@gmail.com

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping homeless cats and kittens in Ventura County. We help abandoned and unwanted animals find wonderful, new, forever homes by taking them in, getting them any needed medical care, loving them and raising them to be loving pets, then adopting them out at one of our three adoption sites. We will take in nursing or pregnant cats, newborn motherless kittens, older kittens and in some cases homeless adults cats.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out at adoptions as well as foster animals. There are always more animals in need of care than foster homes. Cats Cradle will supply food and litter, you supply the love! Please call or email if you are interested in helping out.
