My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Coco was found in the fields by a neighbor and brought to us in July. She has been a sweetheart. She is kennel trained. Her one red flag is that she's a climber, so she'll need a tall fence, to be leashed, or always supervised. The only kids she's been tested on are the teen volunteers who she is great with. She is playful, loves toys, enjoys music, and very cuddly.

Additional adoption info

We have an addition application on our website. It is at the bottom of the available dogs page.
We can usually have applications reviewed in a day.
We really just want these drugs to go to Good homes. They have been through a lot and deserve that.

Go meet their pets

We are available almost all day (closed 1-3:30 on weekdays)

We can meet at local parks or have you come to the rescue. We have a couch and two outdoor areas for getting to know your new pet .

More about this rescue

Yakima has a huge problem with drugs being dumped, so we converted our shed and made space to take in the helpless dogs.
We mainly have pitbulls, German shepherds, and huskies as those are the undesirable breeds of here.
We get the vaccinated and neutered/spayed before adopting them out.
We also have to wait 30 days to see if an owner comes forward.
The adoption fee helps covers the medical care and the food while they are with us.
