Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kady. She is a Shih Tzu female between 2-3 years old. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and house-trained.
Kady is a very sweet dog. She loves to be doted on and is a real cuddle bug. She loves people and other dogs and she wants to be a part of everything.
Kady is only 2-3 years old so she needs a family or person that’s a little energetic too. She loves to sit up and shake her paws for attention. Me, me, me!! Pick me up!
She will need a secure yard with at least a 5 foot fence so that she is safe and cannot wander when she goes out to do her business.
If you are familiar with breeds such as Shih Tzus and Pugs, you will know that it is common for them to need eye drops on a regular basis to prevent dry eye. Kady does need this, so her adopter must be willing to give the time necessary to keep her comfortable. She tolerates eye drops very well and they are not expensive.
If you are interested in Kady, please contact us for an Application of Interest/Adoption. You do not need to be a Veteran to adopt from our program. All of our canines are available to the public, but you must submit an application of interest and complete a home safety check in order to meet any of our available canines.
Her adoption fee is a $350 tax deductible contribution to our Spay/Neuter fund. This fee covers her vaccinations, spay and a microchip.
