Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The incredible, Piper, is looking for her forever home! I'm fostering her through True North Rescue in Brooklyn, NY 11201 (visit www.truenorthrescue.org for application and adoption fee info). She's 12 years, 16 pounds and comes from TX after her owner died of cancer. She’s shy at first, but slowly warms up once familiar with her human/surroundings. Once acclimated, she'll always want to be near you. Piper shows zero signs of aggression towards other humans & dogs. However high-energy dogs/kids can be overwhelming. Piper startles easily, so a home in the suburbs (preferably with yard) would be best (she lived in the quiet suburbs of Texas). She's house trained and relieves herself outside, but has to get used to her surroundings first. Therefore, she'll need wee-wee pads in the house at the start just to be safe. Piper relieves herself 4-5 times a day, every 3-4 hours (but if you have a yard you’re all set!!!). Piper walks very well in her harness/sweater and likes leisurely strolls.
