My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kona came to us about five years ago from the storms/flooding in Tennessee, emaciated and lonely. my new wife and I gave Kona a 2nd chance, building her back up to health and a loving home. Kona is thriving, but doesn't like roughhousing, as our other dog in the house is an antagonist and has angrily snapped back at her. Here enters the reason for Kona needing a new home; my wife and I now have a 1 year old toddler who is starting to crawl around and be inquisitive. No one wants an accidental innocent tail pull to turn tragic. Kona unfortunately needs another home.

She is 5, 60lbs, up to date on everything. She has always had pet insurance. Beautiful brindle coat with white chest. She doesn't really need as leash, although I rather use one in public, and she doesn't pull. She doesn't jump, is housebroken, well behaved and loving. Kona would be a perfect fit for empty nesters, recently retired or an established dog family with older children
