Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Georgette!!!
Georgette is a 10-month-old, newfipoo (Newfoundland/poodle mix), at least according to the previous owner that surrendered her to animal control. 10 months old, yes, but we're not convinced she's a newfoundland mix. However, her breed only affects how much it's going to cost her future forever home to get her groomed. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, house trained and kennel trained. Georgette weighs a whopping total of 53 lb and that was before we had to do a VERY rough cut to shave off the matting on her ears and neck. Georgette is a sweet and loving puppy, albeit very rambunctious. She loves cats, dogs, and people. Georgette also loves to run and play as long as you will let her which means she doesn't like to come inside. If you can get her inside, she absolutely adores cuddles and will sleep upside down in your lap. Georgette was very good for her grooming, minus the dryer, and let her foster mom do the bulk of it on her front porch!
So if you think you have what it takes to keep up with a very energetic 10-month-old pup who wants nothing more than your engagement and attention, please consider welcoming Georgette into your heart and home. Just keep in mind that her haircuts are going to be quite pricey.
This dog is a Benefactor Dog. His/her increased adoption fee will allow them to act as a benefactor to other dogs in our care that require special medical care and a give them a better chance at adoption.
