My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

First - I have feline coronavirus so I must be the only cat in your home. I am available as a short term foster with someone whose intention is to adopt me.

Second and most importantly - I am one of the friendliest little cats you will ever meet. I love love and l love attention and I love to cuddle. Not everyone can meet me as there are sanitizing protocols that need to be strictly followed. Additionally, I am safely back with the medical team so I don't get anyone else sick. Anyone seriously interested in me should email the Cat Foster Coordinator at fostercats@maxfund.org and she will get back to you within a couple days.

More about this shelter

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in May of 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet. MaxFund adopts our animals to Colorado residents only.

The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
