My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Matcha is a very sweet boy, he is house trained! Great with children, dogs, and cats!

Matcha came in on November 17th, 2023 from a transport. He was rescued from a neglect and hoarding case in South Carolina. Matcha has overcome so much. All this sweet boy needs is a chance.

More about this shelter

The Quincy Humane Society was formed in 1880 and is one of the oldest continually operating humane organizations in the United States. We are a limited admission facility. In April 2008, we fulfilled a dream of ten years by moving into our new 10,000 square foot Pet Resource Center. We are a National Spay Neuter Response Team member offering high volume, high quality spay neuter services to the region.
