My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everybody, my name is Julep! I am a happy go lucky girl who loves everybody. I also enjoy playing wrestle with other dogs so much; I am a little nervous around cats so I leave them alone. I have a heeler body and ears with the lovable forehead of a pitbull. I am about 1 year-old, with lots of mental energy. I enjoy bothering my elder foster brother, so I get to practice lots of impulse control and respecting animal communication.

I do wonderfully in the crate. I am also potty trained - I did stay on leash for a week at my new foster home, so I could learn the ways of the house and so I know what areas are for potty, for play, or for relaxing. I enjoy soft chew toys that we play tug with. I also enjoy hard chew toys like Benebone for my crate time.

I walk pretty well on leash, but sometimes I get a little excited when all the smells hit! So being a 50lb girl, I am learning pressure-release with the slip lead and prong collar. I have high food drive so teaching this new language has been really easy!
