We adopted Marley when he was almost 1 year old, from a friend of a friend who was moving out of state. When we got him home, we discovered that he had not been neutered yet. One quick vet visit later, and we had an irresistibly snuggly boy. A few years passed and we thought we'd adopt some kittens. We followed all the protocols for gently introducing them, and never thought that Marley would see them as a threat. Unfortunately, it seems that he got enough testosterone as a young boy to have some territorial instincts. One of the new cats is his best friend, but the other one lives in constant fear of Marley's attacks. We've tried everything we can think of to help calm him down, to no avail.
Marley is a great snuggler- he likes to be draped over your shoulder for a long nap. He loves any kibble and likes to get drinks from the bathroom sink.
We feel he'd be a great companion if he's the only cat in the household. We just want everyone to feel happy, loved, and safe!
