My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was dumped in a park in a small town of Merced by my previous “owners” who failed to be my guardians. I was hungry, scared, and running around in the parking lot when a kindhearted stranger rescued me. After staying with her, her dog and cat for a few weeks, I was taken to a new foster home to be closer to adoption events. I’m not sure what this means but it’s supposed to help me find a new forever home more quickly, and I do like the sound of that!

I like kids. Initially, I may be a bit shy with new dogs, cats, and people, but once they gain my trust, I become affectionate, loyal, and playful. I love my temporary familie who have helped me in my most difficult days and have been taking good care of me. However, I long for a forever home and look forward to becoming a wonderful family member who brings abundant joy and love.
