Hi, my name is Kiko! Am I not the most handsome boy? If you enjoy quiet days and evenings snacking on the couch while watching Hallmark Christmas movies, look no further!! While I do enjoy my walks (at a leisurely pace) and sniffing all the great smells outside, I'm content to just lay at your feet or chew on a squeaky toy! Back to the snacks, I'm a bit of a connoisseur! I know the difference between a yummy treat/kibble and a green bean, so don't even try to sneak one of those by me!
I also love car rides and just being wherever you are! I'm an older guy looking for my next person to bond with. My prior owner had so much going on all the time, it made me anxious and uncomfortable. You can have friends and family over, but if I'm not feeling social, I'll be content in my kennel with my favorite stuffed carrot! I'm house-trained, love pets and gentle ear scitches. I am crate-trained, but do great just hanging out in the house if you need to step out for errands - I'll just hang out and guard the house until you get back. I know sit and have great recall - just call and I'll come running...well, more like sauntering over to you!
Kiko spent some time at Champion Farms in early November where we learned a lot about him. He takes some time to warm up, but once he does he bonds quickly. A quiet home would suit him best, but one where he can still enjoy short leash walks with his person. His person must also possess some leadership qualities to ensure healthy boundaries - he bonds deeply! Kiko's next home will receive a free in-home session with Edgar at The Champion Farm to ensure you get started on the right foot together!

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

Home Check
We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.
