After careful observation, we feel that Nelson and Tucker need to be adopted together. They sleep together;they play together and; if they are separated, even by a doggie gate, they whine to be together. The combinations of Nelson and Tucker's adoption fee is $350.
ABOUT NELSON: He was found with his companion TUCKER wandering in a Tucson area parking lot.. We posted him with the local shelters and internet, but no one claimed him.
Both NELSON and his companion were very underweight, but they quickly got back to a healthy weight with good food. We had their shots updated, wormed him, microchipped and neutered. NELSON is doing well learning to potty outside, but no guarantees.
PERSONALITY: NELSON loves everyone, sleeps thru the night and rarely barks unless he is locked in a room and cannot see you. We don't think he got any obedience training, so we highly recommend puppy school because he is very smart and promises to become your loyal companion.
RORESCUE NOTES: We are looking for an "forever" adopter who will take NELSON to Puppy training classes and bond with this sweet boy.
RoRescue adopts their dogs as INDOOR pets, with sufficient supervised outdoor exercise time.
RoRescue requires a secure yard and safe environment for this dog.
