Meet Mimi! She is estimated to be 8-10 months old, and she weighs 30 pounds. She has been a great house dog in her foster home! Mimi loves to play, but listens very well when she’s doing something she’s not supposed to and is very polite in the house. She will find a cozy spot and lays down quietly most of the day. She’s very playful with other dogs, and is good at listening to them too! She backs off at any indication that the other dog has had enough. She walks well on a leash, responds well to basic commands, and really only barks out of excitement when she sees another dog. Mimi loves to snuggle up with her person, and never misses an opportunity to lay on something soft whether it be a blanket on the ground, or her favorite spot on the couch.
Mimi loves all kinds of attention: she adores being hugged, cuddled, talked to, and wants to go on every adventure. She can be upset when she’s left alone, but she’s shown no indication that she’s destructive. She has gone to work with her foster family and has shown she’s highly adaptable in most situations. After saying hi to everyone, she finds a comfortable spot, and sleeps the rest of the work day.
