My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Biscuit is a very sweet affectionate kitty, he loves laying in your lap or on your chest while making lots of biscuits with his paws. He also loves playtime with his feather toys. He is a little vocal but it's only because he wants some loving or a refill on his food. Biscuit is a good boy who just wants cuddles & treats.

The only downside with biscuit is we don’t know if Biscuit was ever in a home with other animals before & we’ve done our best trying to interact him with other animals but we do believe it’s in his best interest to go to a home where he is the singular pet. He is very cat reactive.

He would be best served being an indoor only kitty. He listens to commands very well & loves to go outside on his leash & harness to enjoy the grass & sunshine, only for a few minutes then he's ready to go back inside.

**COVID UPDATE** We are currently doing adoptions at the location of our animal's foster home. After submitting an approved application, a date and time will be arranged to meet the animal. If the meet and greet goes well, all animals are available to go home same-day.

More about this rescue

Saving Lives Animal Rescue is a group of independent people who volunteer together to help the homeless animals within Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties find forever homes. The majority of these animals are looked over for adoption at the shelter, they are the “ left overs” the ones nobody wants and would otherwise be euthanized. They may need a little more love and patience and therefore may spend a lil more time in foster care. Some of our cats are coming out of colonies, either abandoned adults or litters of kittens. Some may even need bottle feeding.
