My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spooky & Biscotti are looking for a home!

These sweethearts were both special medical cases who spent nearly two months in quarantine fighting off sickness. Biscotti came into the shelter with Panleuk and Rhino, while Spooky had feline Chlamydia and Rhino. Once they had both completed their treatment, and were not contagious, they were allowed to interact in a foster home... and immediately became the very best of friends.

Spooky is incredibly outgoing and social. He's fearless, and extra curious and cuddly with other cats. He loves playing with his older foster siblings (PBJ&A), but always comes back to Biscotti for a cuddle and nap. The two are regularly found grooming each other, or chasing each other around the house. Spooky is also the LOUDEST purr machine who loves to cuddle his foster parents in bed at night.

Biscotti is your typical introvert. He is quiet, polite, and an excellent snuggler for naps or at bed time. He often follows Spooky's lead in new situations, and never seems to be the one getting into trouble first 😂
You may have noticed Biscotti has an odd eye. After months of trying every kind of antibiotic and eyedrop, our vet inspected his eyelid closer and found there to be an odd shape to the actual lid itself, possibly caused by scar tissue. We have been assured that aside from some minor irritation once and a while, it is not a major concern. The vet told us that should an adopter wish to have him see a feline eye specialist in the future, minor surgery may be possible to correct the shape once he is done growing. But for now, his eye will just look like that 💕

If you would like to meet this wonderful pair of bonded besties, please send us a message over on our facebook page. These kittens are in their foster home, and not at the shelter, so meeting them takes some arranging. Both boys are due to go for their neuter in the coming weeks, and we'd love to set things up so their adopter can take them home to heal! 😁
