My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey was one of many dogs that was left behind after a house fire destroyed their home. Not all the dogs in the home survived. The home owner was injured and was taken to the hospital. He was not to return and the animals that survived the fire were left on the property until relatives to the owner visited the property and realized there were dogs there. Thats when we got involved.
Smokey is a good dog with no injuries from the fire and is in need of a loving home. Please consider giving him chance and adopt him.
Smokey is neutered, all vaccinations, heart worm negative and completely healthy. Smokey is good with all humans. Unfortunately for Smokey, we are so full of animals in need we have no foster home open for him so we know little about things such as housetrained etc. The staff at the Veterinary Hospital love hims and tell us how friendly and sweet he is. Once we have a foster home open for him, we will be able to tell you allot more. He is microchipped with Petlink Microchips. We know he is half lab but we don't know what the other half is.

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:
