Hi! We're absolutely devastated to have to find a new home for our Ivy. One of our younger children has now shown to have severe allergies to her and we have been unable to find a way to compensate. Despite an inhaler, medications, and not to mention the increased diligence in cleaning and tidying, we realize now that keeping Ivy is not compatible for our family.
Ivy is a gorgeous and happy dog. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to run and jump. She is just incredibly sweet. We rescued her from a rescue society when she was just a few weeks old. She was the only survivor of her litter and was just desperate for love. Since having her, we have house-broken her, taught her to sit and paw, and have gone on a few walks, although she prefers the space of our backyard over any kind of restrained walk.
She does well with other dogs and is very good with small children (but is still a little jumper, so could knock over a toddler, but is not aggressive.)
