Hey there, I'm Maia, and let me tell you, I'm ready to be the sweetest addition to your life! Sure, I might come off a bit skittish and nervous at first, but trust me, there's a heart of gold beneath it all.
I'm quite the brainiac, you know. I've mastered a few tricks that'll surely impress you, especially if you've got cheese handy - it's my absolute favorite! Now, when it comes to socializing, I'm a bit of a dog whisperer, or so they say. I thrive in doggie playgroups, and I can charm just about any pooch, even the ones who aren't so fond of others.
Now, I've got a bit of a Houdini streak, true to my husky nature, so outdoor supervision is a must, even with a fenced-in yard. Oh, and about cats? Not my cup of tea, had a little incident back in the day, you see.
Due to my shy demeanor, I'd prefer a home with older children. My foster family had an older child, and we got along alright, but he was very respectful of my space. Speaking of bonds, I form them quickly with those I trust. My foster mom said I was her shadow, always keeping her company as she worked from home.
Outdoors is where I shine. I love basking in the sun, lounging on a cozy bed, and just soaking up the fresh air. Toys didn't catch my eye much at FOHA, but in my foster home, they became my favorite activity! I'd drag them all out for a grand play session!
And guess what? I'm housebroken and crate trained! Plus, I've got a repertoire of tricks - sit, down, shake, spin, and fetch - you name it, I can do it. And mealtime? Well, let's just say I put on quite the show, prancing and trotting around in anticipation.
My time in a foster home really brought out a whole new side of me. So, if you meet me at FOHA and I seem a tad nervous, just give me a little time - I promise there's so much more to me than meets the eye.
If you're after a girl who's a bit timid but warms up quickly, intelligent, patient, and ready for a new adventure, I think I might just be your perfect match. Let's make some unforgettable memories together!
