My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Considering adopting? The first step is to do the application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application
Please do not call the shelter, do the application first.

Introducing the Little Mermaid pups! These border collie/blackmouth cur/LeMutte (who knows) pups, born 9/6/23, are happy, frisky, playful, affectionate, and will make great family pets for active families. We have a suspicion there are more than one father for this litter, as they have a lot of differences in appearance!

How big will they get? Anyone's guess! Probably between 50 - 70 pounds, but mixed breeds are nearly impossible to predict accurately.

Available are:

FLOUNDER - male, large black spot over right eye/ear, small black spot over left eye, 16 pounds as of 11/30.

SEBASTIAN - male, large black patch over left eye, 19 pounds as of 11/30.

ARIEL - female, primarily black with large white patch on throat/chest, white toes, 16 pounds as of 11/30.

URSULA - female, primarily black, the fluffy one, 15 pounds as of 11/30.

SHELBOW - male, tricolor, 16 pounds as of 11/30.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. They hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet, and will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
