My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth:7/15/2020

Description:

I am a big goofy boy that likes to play, chase balls, go for walks or car rides, I love to love my humans! I get excited when my humans are home, and I sometimes forget my manners, but I quickly remember them after my excited dance. I am told I am the family comedian and make everyone laugh and feel loved. If you have a bad day, my wobbly ears will make you smile! So will my kisses. Can I be your best friend!!!! PLEEEEEASE!

Words to Describe Me: I am very energetic, goofy, playful, silly and just overall a happy boy!

Favorite Place to Sleep: I love a big fluffy bed.

Favorite Toy: BALL, did you say BALL?!?!

Perfect Day: My perfect day would be playing ball and getting my ears and belly scratched.

Kitty's Likes: I like going for walks, playing ball (I will bring it back so you can throw it again!) I like going for car rides.

Kitty's Dislikes: I pretty much like everything.

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Call my name or look my way. :) I love attention and I am always eager to please.

Favorite Treat: I love all treats, especially if they have some love sprinkled on them.

Job Title in Foster: I am everyone's BIG brother, and I am ok being paid in treats and love.

When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: I want to be a professional ball player. Are the Diamondbacks hiring?

  • Good with Cats: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not interacted with cats).
  • Good with Dogs: Likes dogs given a proper introduction.
  • Good with Children: Can live in a house with children over the age of 12.
  • Companion Animal:   Not required

Health information: All dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age.

Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match.  To apply, visit bit.ly/SOLAdoptApp.

Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
